LARRY CARNELL CFE,CBI,CFB: Prior to joining Franchise Professionals, Larry Carnell founded FranCastle Enterprises, a strategic consulting firm to the franchise community and other business entities. Larry also served as the Vice President of Business Development for BeneTrends, Incorporation. During his time at BeneTrends, Larry was instrumental in helping the company more than triple their revenue in less than a three year period and regain the nation’s #1 position in helping individuals use their retirement funds to start, grow or buy a business. In that role, he became nationally recognized as one of the pre-eminent subject matter experts on this resource and its use with other funding options. His vast experience in franchising also made him a valuable expert and resource in helping organizations, franchisors, franchise consultants, business brokers and others improve and achieve superior results.



Over much of the last three decades, Larry has served in various positions including executive, managerial, consultative, training and lecturing roles. His career is accompanied by a long track record of producing record results and numerous awards including the National Franchisor Star award as a national director of franchise development, President’s Club Management Consultant Award and achieving the International Business Brokers Association’s highest certification designation as a CBI, certified business intermediary and national certification as a CFB, certified franchise broker. In addition, he has been award the International Franchise Association highest designation in Franchising as a CFE, Certified Franchise Executive, at that time consisting of approximately 700 other CFEs in the world. He has been a frequent speaker, lecturer, panelist or moderator at many national conventions and associations such as the IFA, IBBA, NAGGL, SCORE. and others. He also serves in other leadership roles and on advisory boards or committees of organizations inside and outside of the franchise community. Carnell graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis with major areas of study in marketing and accountancy and minors in finance and management.
